What is my personal motivation to work on the topic of identity and sense of self?
Apart from the professional satisfaction of seeing people's inner growth, I am also motivated to promote this topic by other factors.
My human reasons may even be selfish and self-centred. On a deeply personal level, I like people who reason and think independently. Only people like that are really interesting to me.
People with a clear identity and sense of self are more characterised by independent judgement, thinking - their own understanding of things, their own view of the world. This does not necessarily mean that these people are comfortable, nice, sweet and agree with the majority. However, I think that it is the fact that a person has come to his own conclusions about life and the order of things that makes him attractive.
I believe that only with such people is it possible to have a genuine dialogue, conversation and meaningful interaction. Only with people who think and make their own decisions is it possible to grow and develop together, because only people who are reasoning themselves can show the other a different perspective.
I think it is only with such people that it is possible to have truly fruitful relationships. Sometimes it is through overcoming resistance. Through exchanges, discussions, arguments and sometimes even conflicts and agreeing (or not) on common denominators in different visions.
More than people with whom I share similar thoughts, I like people who think differently. In contrast, it bothers me that people blindly adopt ready-made views (including my own). It bores me.
So what I try to do through my services is to support people to start thinking and creating for themselves, rather than automatically adopting the life wisdom that I have come to.
It is important to me, both on a personal and professional level, that people come to their own conclusions and conclusions. So I am not interested in gathering people around me who only agree with me.
I want to experience meaningful, growth-oriented relationships.
By supporting people in developing their sense of identity and sense of self, I am making a selfish investment in my own self-interest.
